PROFITABLE VANITY

We painted and designed this series of poster paintings exploring the idea of the uselessness and the vanity wrapped in traditional painting. They both challenge the idea of having functional art and also completely reject the notion.

 

Over the course of several months, we applied a realistic painting style and the graphic design styles of scientific illustrations to get our theme of “profitable vanity” across. The final artworks

display technical skill and an ability to effectively combine traditional art and graphic design.
